ps3 3.66 jailbreak

Hi gang, I hope someone can help me.

I have a fat 40gb ps3 on ofw 3.66 can this be jb?

If not, I also have a fat ps3 40gb cfw 3.55 already jb but ylod!
Can I desolder chip/chips off my ylod mb and solder them onto 3.66 mb to end up with cfw 3.55? If so, which IC's?

I had this running fine on my ylod ps3 and have a 500gb hdd i pulled out of that unit.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

3.66 = no jb at the mo

your 3.55 no that cant happen im afraid mate i like the idea but in afraid its incompatible, if it helps i can fix ylod as have reballing machine here

Thanks for your input m8 and your offer for help but Im afraid I already tried a ylod fix but damaged some tiny components surrounding the cpu so methinks the old board is shot!

On the earlier question, where is the information held on the mb? when one jb's, I imagine some info would be on the hdd and some on maybe a bios chip on the mb? why would it not be possible to change both of these over and end up with a jailbroken unit?

trust me matew its not worth the hassle u will end up messing 2 ps3s up best bet is just get a new one or a recon buddy

Having given up on my last brainwave, does anyone hold the view that a jb for 3.56+ is somewhere on the horizon or should I just give up and upgrade my 3.66 ofw to the latest 4.0 and at least be able to use my ps3 to play latest games and go online etc...
