ps3 flashing red light causes

been searching the net for awhile to try find causes and solutions i have purchased a new hdd and doesnt seem to fix it. what other things cause this issue

your console is suffering from YLOD serch the term and read up on it then if you want to fix it search for GILSKY on youtube and fix yourself if you feel confident enough,i did and console is back to normal now although i did sell it shortly afterwards .....almost every fat console will suffer from this issue which is well known by sony
