    find out what inputs projector has and get cables to suit..projectors usually have rca and/or svideo..

          place yellow part of ps3 av cable into one end.. other end into projector... red and white parts are for audio..

                if your projector is not hi def you kill the ps3.
                buy yourself a 2nd hand ps2 for 20-25 Eu and the viewing will will be the same not to mention the 100s of games that you will have for peanuts if you chip it.

                      RCA connection to projector is low definition 576p using a hdmi-VGA converter generates a higher resolution depending what the native resolution is of the projector.mine is 1024x768 so it looks HD but the image is cut slightly as its only 1024 instead of 1280 I think it should be.
                      But it works fine
