I think it will, would it not be a better option to stream from your pc to ps3? the price of blank b-rays is still pretty steep for me.

Ditch Tversity and download Ps3 media server.

It plays MKV files flawlessly.

Ps3 Media server is defo much much better than Tversity

PS: yes the ps3 will play blu-ray backups
