Need Advice Please With PS3 Slim
I have had the slim ps3 since 2010 and its never been updated,and I would like to play the Apps for it.And I would like to jailbreak it as well ,could you please advice me what I can do and cannot do.

First off check what version firmware is on it currently, you dont want to go above 3.55 - there are a few different cfw's depending on what you are looking to do -
Rogero CFW which is generally for playing games/homebrew etc.
Rebug is more for the developer/debugging side of things as it has all the debug options available to play with.
There is also a Special OtherOS firmware which re-enables otherOS installation on your machine (you can run linux again) althought you probably still have the option anyway... -
unless you can get the 3rd party video chip software that allows you to get full access to the nvida chip, doing the booting of linux is a waste of timeComment

Regarding CFW imo Kmeaw 3.55 is the best for back up use. Also alot of 3.66 games are now playable on 3.55 firmware.
