PS3 FROZE ON 99%

Hi, ive just click to update the ps3 cant remember what firmwire, but it has froze on 99% and just does that everytime i switch the computer on, i cant do the old hold down the on button to get to main menu, as soon as switched on it just starts downloading again. please help me!!!!!!

try downling it from playstation website and put in on usb stick update that way

thanks. i have tryed that and it still wont work, is there any other simple ways????
