hello all
let me start off by saying this is my first ps3 i was given it by a friend as he said it was broke as he knows i like to fix things but i am not sure where to start with this as i am not used to it but figure it cant be too difficult. as i have taken other console and laptop apart and fixed them.
ok so i have had this ps3 for about aday and found the following problems.
1. when i insert a game disk it goes in fine the blue light next to the power light comes on and i can hear what sounds like the disk trying to read however nothing comes up in the home screen under game section. ( the disk is not scratched). when i press eject the disk does not come out i have to fiddle to get it out. this happens with dvds also.
2. i download love film appliction for the ps3 which downloaded and installed in my channels however when i click to open it all i get is blank screen.
i am hoping that this is a firmware problem/ hard drive issue like was suggested by friend and nothing to sinister.
