i have my ps3 hard wired from my wireless router, now i keep on getting signed out of games and my signel strength varies between 1 and 2 bars? how can this be when i am hard wired?. even in the network connection says its wired, any advice?

Have you run through the network setup again? If you are seeing a signal strength indicator then you most to connected wirelessly. Try turning off you wireless network and see if the PS3 has any connection at all. -
its definitely a wired connection in the network settings.
Think its a vm broadband problem on the local server, they say there is to much traffic going through the server at peak times so this will effect the connection to the console, but its not as bad on the xbox....Comment
