Just noticed according to Amazon.....

According to Amazon.co.uk....Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, God of War 3 AND Tekken 6 will all be being released on the same day, Oct 30th....surely not?! Don't get me wrong it be one great halloween if this is correct, but to have all 3 of those games released at the same time competing with each other seems a little dodgy, would have thought there would be a 2 week divider between them at least.

Either way October is going to be one awesome month for gaming, if Amazon release dates are true - Fifa 10 coming out Oct 2, Pro Evo 2010 coming out about a fortnight after on the 16th, and then Uncharted 2 coming out two weeks after that on the 30th - with the possiblility of also Tekken6 and God of War 3 on the same day ....with a release list like that it's a good job Heavy Rain was delayed until early 2010!

Unless I'm reading like a retard, I couldn't make much sense of that post....of course these games aren't from the same company....Namco make Tekken, Sony make God of War, Naughty Dog make Uncharted etc....I don't think there's any way all these games are coming out on the same day it's just Amazon have them listed as coming out on the same day....although Tekken is coming out on the same day as Uncharted 2 - unless Uncharted 2 is coming out earlier than anticipated in Europe - 30th October release is crap anyway considering America get it on the 15th!

They get everything them lot, and then they moan on the odd occasion they don't, pisses me right off that. You should see their PS Store compared to ours .

now be fair raven the first post is a valid point-they are all seperate companys and with the exeption of tekken 6 exclusives to ps3 ,and big hitters as far as ps3 is concerned so same day or not they will sell,ps3 owners are crying out for some good exclusive games(infamous s)

and the other point originaly im sure one of the reasons of ps3 games being more than there 360 counterparts was the fact they were on bluray

and since bluray has come down in price itss only right to expect things that come on bluray to come down too

Well I'm glad you could make sense of it VJ - I couldn't.....What's wrong with Infamous ? Except for the fact that it's way overrated ....I can't see how that game scored 9/10 as it's just your average superhero videogame from what I could tell. New Batman game is meant to be good, though I haven't played it yet.

To get games cheap its an idea to shop around and pre order for discounts. I'm waitin for fifa10 which I got just for under ?30. At the moment they are over ?30 on 360 I believe. l'm also gettin ninja gaiden sigma2 at 29.99 and its only 19.99 on xbox. I guess its because ninja gaiden was meant to be exclusive to 360.
Looking at 29.85 for tekken6 which is the same price on the 360

Yep it was looking cheap for a while its just gone up to 29.85 for now. I buy most of my games from shopto nowadays. I'll have to give pes a try I've always played fifa but pes fans tell me its better than fifa.
Placed fifa10 order with tesco direct. They were doing it cheaper at the time but its also gone up now.

@Delboy07....yeah PES fans will tell you it's better than Fifa, just like Fifa fans will tell you it's better than PES....granted this year's Fifa is really good if the demo I played was anything to go by and I for one didn't think Fifa 09 was nearly as good as people suggested, I felt previously that you didn't have full control of your players but in this one you do get the feeling that you can actually play the game now as opposed to being forced to play a certain way all the time....but regarding PES vs Fifa it's all about preference now regarding gameplay, you either prefer Pro Evo's response/control/fun style or you prefered Fifa's approach.....which was as equally frustrating as it was presentationally sound especially given their "realistic" approach.....it's going to be negligible this year though by the looks of things but no matter what fans on either side tell you it's all about your own style preference....personally I'm a PES person but I do like Fifa too. Any footy game that plays good is a winner in my book. That's why I think Fifa 10 is excellent thus far because it genuinely plays well - but I can't wait to see what Pro Evo is like but it's going to have to be significantly better than last year to equal Fifa 10 - and last year wasn't bad in my honest opinion but Fifa a different ballgame this time....There's rumblings from people that have played the latest PES 2010 code though that Pro Evo "is back" this year.

Anyway I've tried out the demo and it does seem that Fifa10 is definitely going be talked about this year. Like yourself I was not that impressed with Fifa09 but after playing the demo of Fifa10 I'm really looking forward to the release of the full game.

When you pre order with shopto.com it says prices may increase or decrease as you probably know already. So far my order for Tekken6 has decreased but may go back up again. If the price does go up too high I still have option to cancel the order.

Yeah you can cancel the order at any time so long as it's not entered dispatch process yet (and therefore charged your card) but what alot of places do (and I think shopto is the same) is that they say if the price goes down between your pre order date and the date of release then you pay the new lower price - but on the flipside if the price goes up then you still pay what you agreed on at pre order, so basically either way you get it cheaper unless the price doesn't fluctuate. But I would read around shopto just to make sure that they do that. Especially if that's a potential problem.
