need help and proper info on 4.66 to 3.55

hi guys im getting a load of rubbish info on softmodding the ps3 I upgraded to 4.66 but still cannot jailbrake the ps3 its a slim 4.66 model im looking to run games via an external hd drive but im getting so many bullshit answers regarding this im also told only firmware 3.55 is the only firmware that will work if so how can I downgrade my 4.66 ps3 to 3.55 please help

Hi mate, if youre ps3 model is 4xxxx im afraid the only solution is to use a hardware flasher like e3. Anyways if you had a softmod compatible ps3 jailbraik you shouldnt have upgraded the firmware as now it wont be soft-mod compatible and will also need a flasher.
