Hi guys I've been given a ps3 old and its running cfw 4.46 and was wondering if it can be changed to a different firmware so I can play games via an external hard drive thanks

im in the same boat...got a ps3 superslim and want to play with some cfw...im running v4.78...just having issues with the cfw.

Update to the latest Rebug 4.78.2 REX so you can go online.

You can play games fine from a external HDD, must be formatted to fat32
Do you know if its a CEX or DEX PS3?
