    Transferring 4gb+ files. Help!

Just wondering if someone could help me out.

Since discovering High Def movie rips i can't stop downloading them, problem occurs when (after running through Mkv2Vob program) they turn out bigger than 4.7gb and i'm unable to fit on a dvd r/writable disc.

I have downloaded both Red Kawa file transfer and Ps3Protocol programs and while they whip mp3's over to the Ps3 hard drive in no time, i am only getting an 10kbps transfer rate for the High Def movies, which is jus stupid.

I have also heard of tversity prg but just figured it would be similar.

Any fixes or workarounds would be greatly appreciated as my pc ain't up to showing hd content so the ps3 is my only hope.

    Cheers
