hi my son has got ps3 it intermittitintly fooze a couple of times then a about a week later last night it froze and no work now he said it doesnt have the disc sign anymore has any body came across this or where i start i aint got clue about these cheers

never happened to me but im guessing, everything else works like ps store, music videos pics etc etc.
if so then id say it was your bluray drive has gone so youd prob have to change the laser, not sure how easy this is to but there a re numorous tutorials on the net that can show you how to do it..
you should check see if its still under warranty if so take it back.... if not you could have a bash at it yourself
