    PS3 firmware update v2.17 released

    PS3 firmware v2.17 is now available, users will be prompted to upgrade when they sign in to the PSN. The update apparently improves the operating stability of some online PS3 titles.

      Well don't know if it's just coincidense, but COD was a total nightmare yesterday afternoon for myself and my M8. Every game we did actually manage to get into either ended early with the usual "Host has ended Game" or connections timed out. After the update before this one everything was great COD was the best it had ever been for me. Couldn't get on warhawk yesterday either just kept getting the "please check your network connection". Might just have been sod's law wait and see what it's like today.

          Had no trouble with online play since i put my ps3 in dmz on router, before i had loads of bother with fifa08 and tiger08, pro ev still sucks tho.
