Ps3 Deaded

Well my Ps3 gave up on me. Playing Cod4 online it beeped 3 times then shut down with the red light flashing. Cod4 stuck in drive can't get it out. Looked in drawer for receipt, wife had sorted drawer out so god knows where it is.

So its a phone call to Sony Customer Services Monday see what they can do

I think you'll find that Sony will sort it out for you so don't worry mate!

Checked on the net and some peeps said Sony was opened Sundays, so I gave them a try, low and behold they are open. Anyway the guy was really good told him what happened and he said no probs, gave him my details and the Ps3's serial number. So I get a replacement Tuesday. Sony care center brilliant 2 days to wait and thats it. Cod 4 that was in the console will be returned to me but have to wait 28 days. If they cant get it out or its knackered the disc they will send me a new game

Is yours a 60gig? only asking as i thought they didn't do them anymore. I'd be pissed if they replaced it with the 40gig.

Yeah its a 60 gig asked while on phone what I would get back he said deffo a 60 gig.

Everything is good. Waited in all day courier showed up at 17.45 with my replacement 60gig Ps3. So back up and running. Can't fault Sony's customer care
