    Updating Ps3 via USB Stick

Ive just tried to update my ps3 with the latest firmware via USB stick, wouldnt pick up the pup file that I downloaded from Sony, so I had to update wirelessly through the net.

Anyone do updates via usb and do you have to put the pup file in a special named folder or anything????, if not how do you do it.

    Thanks Lads

you may know this already bud but its all down to how you name the file usualy for example films need to be PS3/VIDEOS/THE FILM. perhaps that is why it cant find it? for updates it is PS3/UPDATE/THEN THE UPDATE FILE.
