New ps3 games & jailbreak

When new games are released they will likely require you to update your firmware, meaning ps3 jailbreak won't work, does anyone know if the kind people who put games on the web for download can or do remove the need to update firmware?.
There is a new game out November that I want (need for speed pursuit) but I assume I wouldn't be able to play it without updating firmware first, unless the jailbreak device allows you to?.
I haven't got one yet as I already own all the games that I want but if there's a way of playing newly released games without buying them then great, or are those using jailbreak devices stuck with just using the games that are for pre 3.42 firmware?

I think by using ps3 jailbreak you can look at the games actual files and delete the one which requires you to update. i will be using this on my ps3 soon so ill let you know what happens.
