JB - How to play games of Ex-Hard drive

Hi all - just got the minimus avr usb...

and loaded, the revelant files including BackUp Manager...

downloaded, Prince of Persia and unzipped into G:\GAMEZ folder onto the external drive...

loaded up Backup Manager and can view the game but it wont load on the XMB because as i place an original game in (MW2). that game can only be view... Would expect Prince of Persia to be on XMB...

What am i doing wrong?

Try and different disc in the drive, I know MW2 wont load via backup so maybe that is the problem.

When you select your backup via the usb menu do you see it in the main screen or do you still see the name of the disc that is in the drive ?


OK just had a look for you and forget it the game you have backup at the moment does not work, not all games work at the moment.

thanks for the tip, will take a look at other original games to load of backups...

im having other troubles like, being not able to load game to external drive becuase of FAT32 4gb limits...

Do you think its wise upgrading the internal hardrive, while upgrading the hard-drive will the ps3 prompt me to upgrade the firmware as i dont want to do this as my chip wont work
