Can't play any games

I got my avr chip delivered earlier this week, and have loaded all the required files including Backup Manager? which all seems to be work fine on the PS3?

As my PS3 is the original 40GB version I?ve decided to load/play my games via the external hard-drive.

The first game I tested was Prince of Persia, thankfully it transferred on the external drive pretty well with any issue of files size being greater the 4GB? once the games was unzipped I placed the folder produced ?EC0783439? (I think that the folder was called) was placed in the following file structure on the external drive
G:\GAMEZ\

Once the Backup Manager was loaded I could view the game in the list, and also the original bluray game (MW2), I?ve loaded Prince of Persia and it goes to the XMB screen, but I don?t see the game only MW2?

What am I doing wrong here?

Last night I tried another game called Red Redemption or something, once that was unzipped, I wasn?t able to place the file on the external hard-drive because of the size of a single file within the unzip folder.

So that?s leave me the dilemma, should I upgrade the internal hard-drive from 40GB to, lets say 500gb?

Any help on this guys

Think I saw something HERE about a tool to split the larger files so they can go on ext hdd, also loads of info on jailbreak there

this maximus avr.... is driving me mad... loaded up 4 different games... and none are working... what the hell am i doing wrong...

Ak you say maximus avr, I thought you bought the minimus avr board. I'm assuming the software is different for both ?

sorry i got confused i got the Minimus AVR USB Development Board, with hex loaded onto it.. and backup manager on the ps3

Just thought you had the wrong software on the avr board pal, Keano says the prince of persia dont work.

It's in your thread , " play game's from external hdd ". Your too pumped up m8, relax, you'll get it working. He has a link to show what games do and don't work.
