Hi all..

I've had my PS3 for a couple of years now.. so glad it can be jailbroke finally..!!

I've an old style PS3 (40GB) running FW 3.15..

I've seen the PS3break V1.2 amongst many others..

I do play online with my friends with my original discs (FIFA, NFS:Grid etc), if I jailbreak will i still be able to do this, not a drama if i can't the appeal of free games is bigger than a couple of games of fifa etc..??

Also will the system update effect things.??

Which ModUSB is the best..????

Yes you can go online with a slight adjustment to the hex, and a certain payload.

I would get either a minimus/maximus board and programme it yourself.

I see the Maximus AVR USB v1.2 uses a different processor so the programming is different, but apparently 'very easy'...

so can you find the unsigned code to get you on the PSN quite easily..???

Do you think it'd be wise to get the older maximus..???

The unsigned code stuff is easy to find, I can link you if needs be mate.

I would get a minimus one, think they are ?24 off modtraders. Grey Team Xecuter ones.

Stick with what everyone has mate, you will find hexes easier to come by then, and people will update them much faster. I have made about 50 of these for people, so if your stuck, then give me a shout.

DO NOT UPDATE you need to be on version 3.41 - or lower - if on a much lower firmware you may not be able to play games where a higher firmware is needed. I have posted the files you will need in Ps3 section.

Thanks very much... I've got the 3.41 FW and the Stealth Manager & PSN 3.50 spoofing hermes-psn-eco-xoeo-cyberskunk-evilsperm-allboards-hex files.. just to wait for my avrusb now and some reading of the ps3hacks forums.. cheers !
