black ops update

is there a new ps3 update for black ops coming out to sort out all the online problems. Also have a fat ps3 which knocked off the other day and when i try to switch it on the red light goes blue for a second then beeps and starts flashing red can any tell me how to fix this problem please

The 1st thing I would do is take the hard drive out and see if it fire's up, If it's still shutting down my thinking is it may be the psu especially if it's a 60gb fat ,Give it a sniff!!!
