    ps3 nat help

hi guys im having trouble with my ps3 playing online, think its a nat issue (whatever that is). the ps3 is saying nat type 2 which is apparently whats recomended but the game is giving me 'strict' nat type & im unable to join any games, have left it searching for games for 20+ minutes & nothing. the game is black ops which i understand has issues atm (worst ?45 ive spent if im honest) but ive also got the same problem with mw2 & battlefield 2.

it has been suggested to me that its a router issue regarding wireless but the problem is still there when wired.

ive used google to search for fixes & tbh dont understand a lot of what people have said about DMZ & giving my ps3 a static ip address etc. a lot ive read has been about accessing my router & settings which is something im not too confident about doing.

any help or advice appreciated & thanks in advance.

Nat issues are usually due to security settings on your router. Google the router name and find out how to decrease the nat security on your router.
