from what ive just read m8 ,it sounds like ya ps3 is f**ked!
try a system reset m8 ,but it dont sound good

Hi,

I had the same problem. this was with the old 60gb machine. this is a fault with the mother board and unrepairable.

my problems started 1 day after the manufacturers warranty ran out, luckily i had taken out extended warranty and the machine was replace with the new 80 gig version.

hi, i did try to reboot no change only play dvd, look in different forums and they said problem with blueray drive,the warranty ran out to be fix ask to much money, solution i did buy a new ps3.
