**** E3 Card Reader DOWNGRADE HELP ****

Hi everyone. I got my E3 Card Reader in the mail finally yesterday. I'm having issues downgrading. It doesn't get my PS3 Slim into Factory/Service Mode. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if the device is faulty. If anyone else is experiencing this issues please let me know. Thanks!

I know you have just spent money but I would dump the dongle and just update to 3.55 and then install kmeaw custom firmware

Hmm. But won't I need some other device (eg. A usb dongle or cell phone) in order to jailbreak 3.55?

No dongle needed with a custom firmware my friend just turn on and go

has any one tested the kmeaw CFW on 60GB Fat version. I've bricked mine trying to put Waninkoko CFW. Now I'm left with just one PS3 so can't afford to mess this one up :-]

No, sorry. I have the slim
version and kmeaw worked fine on mine. I haven't read of kmeaw bricking any consoles yet so it should probably be fine.
