Freinds cant connect

Hello Boys ,
Not into any gaming really xbox or ps3
My lads just got a ps3
He reackons his mate can have up to 18 players in a private party
But his says recomended players 2 sometimes 4
How can he get this up to double figs Thanx ...........Paul

at a guess mate and it is a guess hes trying to setup a game that only allows 4 players im not sure which mode but when u set up a party the game type i.e deathmatch capture the flag decides how many ppl u can have so im guessing that , just experiment with the different game types and see how many it allows

i think it also has a lot to do with your internet connection the better connection the more you can have , i know if i host a private match i can have upto 18 players

but also the game mode depicts how many players for example

team deathmatch minimum players is 8 im sure max is 10

so think it just all depends on game mode and connection strength

what is your internet connection like????

is the ps3 wired or wireless also distance between ps3 and routeris it just private matches its crashing in or is it online ?

yes its just private matches
Distance from router on wireless connection is about 10 metres
