PS3 Games not working?

Just installed a few games there on the internal. running multiman 15.01

Black screen on a couple of games.

Call of Duty World At War and Sonic Ultimate Genesis Collection

Others I installed are loading fine as are others I had installed previously.

Anybody got these two games working on 3.55Kw/multiman 15.01/ on Internal drive.???

Maybe the downloads were modified eboots? I don't know .

Another Thing Little big Planet and Dead space 2 put extra Disc icons on the Screen. "extras".

These Icons are there even If I change to a different game or when I quit Multiman,

disappear when I reboot system though. then reappear if I launch game.

Guess I need to go into the specific Game folders and delete those folders???

Anybody else get this and how did you solve it.

when do you press Select + X buttons Iman?

choose No exit to XMB then select disc icon and press Select + X

If So yes I tried that And just freezes, Have to switch of PS3 to get out of it.

Any other Ideas?

I do not have any black screen games so.I have not tried it myself but the booting up of black screen games is a new feature in mutiman and there was a lot of noise made about it ,I was under the impression that to get black screen games running you select it with select+x instead of just x...but I may be wrong sir!!!

It could also be you need to fix permissions that could very well be it...but what you said about the possibility of having modified eboots is also a good call...I would download ,install and run fix permissions.pkg

I've tried the Select + X on Boot up no difference still black screen.

Alsi tried the reset Permissions within Multiman before launching Game no difference still balck screens, going to try loading the game from an external now to see if any difference from internal.

Copied Sonic Ultimate Genesis Collection to an external usb / Fat32. put it in GAMES Folder. loaded from Multiman using Select + X from List. Loads and works no Problem.

I don't think Select + X works for internal drive only External.

Still Got the same version on internal HDD tried that again with Select + X didn't work (black Screen)

So it aint the eboot thats wrong as it loads ok from external just wont load from internal. think i need to find a different version of the game and see if that loads from both.

The version I have is BLUS30259. Anybody else have this version working from internal??

Got Call of Duty working on internal now straight from disc icon (No select + X) No black Screens.

Installed the Game Update pkg and it works fine.

Still having to use an external to get Sonic game to boot. (strange that as I thought games would generally load better from an internal drive) I'll download another version of it tonight and test later. Can't find an Update PKG file to load for this one??

The swapping game to the external drive thing is something that has caught me out in the past and is always the last thing to pop into my head when faced with a black screen.
3D Dot Game Heros is another game only likes external drives (but only the EU copy!!!)
The mad thing is that the solution was already out there
