Magic stick help

Hi all
can someone help me ive ordered a service battery and memory stick offline so i should recieve it in a few days as i want to put custom firmware on my fat psp.
From what ive gatherd online i can make a stick that will automatically install the custom firmware using the battery , what i want to know is what version can the stick install automatically (5.00-3 m33) or only lower versions first then i need to update manually to this version

Also do i need the 1.5 kernal or some sort of loader to run downloaded games ISOs etc

You want Despertar del Cementerio v8 which will install 5.00 m33-4.

Isos will run straight from the psp, no need for anything else.
