What you need to do is get the files on the memory card so you can get custom firmware onto it. Theres a few ways that can be done.

    Disenter or psp grader.

Personally I use Disenter as its what I was directed to use by the smart people (you know who you are)

You can get Disneter below and then install it (I think you need to have Net framework installed aswell but if its not installed it will tell tell you). Then run Disenter and follow the instructions...its really easy.

No m8 Disenter will do everything for you and when you have mem card ready then you just put in Pandora and follow instructions, it should put you straight on custom firmware 3.8 m33.

No need to go to 1.5 then up, Disenter does it all with the push of a button.

Ok this is whats happening up to press.

Important: Before you continue, backup all files on your memory stick, you will lose them.
Download the above file and extract it to your dekstop.
Enter the 'pan3xxr3a' folder, then copy the 'pan3xx' folder to X:/PSP/GAME.
Launch the installer from GAME > Memory Stick. WHEN I TRY TO DO THIS IT COMES UP WITH "THE GAME COULD NOT BE STARTED"
Press circle to make your battery a Pandora.
          Press R + X, then L + R + X, to format your memory stick.
Press X to turn your PSP off.
Enable USB again, and copy your backup back to your memory stick.

            is your battery fully charged?

is the psp plugged in to the mains?

did you put the 3 files on the memory card using disenter?

            is your battery pandora-ised?

TBH i cant see what your doing....you would create the memory stick before making the pandora battery.
if your using disinter then follow this guide: Digital Kaos - View Single Post - pandora's battery

but you do know disinter will only run on a PSP that already has custom firmware installed? if your doing it on a PSP with official firmware then thats why your getting the "game cant be started" error

if you havent got a PSP with custom firmware then you need to use PSP Grader or mr dudes pandora box GUI.

you can follow the guide and download PSP grader in this post: Digital Kaos - View Single Post - custom firmware

i think the PSP grader link has been updated to version 6 though. so you will need the 4.01 sony eboot instead of the 3.90 eboot.
this will take you directly to 4.01 M33

if that dont work for you and it's a FAT psp that you have you can use mr dudes pandora's box GUI which will downgrade it to 1.50 using the pandora battery you already have.
can be downloaded here: RapidShare: Easy Filehosting

its very simple to use...just follow the GUI to format and copy the files to the memory card then pop in your pandora battery to downgrade to 1.50 (FAT only)
then you can use the easy installers to upgrade to custom firmware.

                Hi fella's

Well all i can say is f**k it, i cant do it.

Ive read and freeking read everything and i still cant make it happen.

Is there anyone around the Bolton Manc area who could possibly do this for me.

The Dboxes and Dm's are easier to do than this piece of shi**.

                Cheers fella's
