Just a lil help finding firmware!

Rite i have the first psp that came out. I had it modded by a friend at the time now were no longer talking and there r games that just dont work ne more.
I might be wrong but i think i need to update the firmware. Iv tried to look for firmware 5.00 m33-6 but cant seem to find it and not sure how to update.
does ne 1 have a link to the firmware and a guide to use it.
I am using firmware 5.00 M33-3 at the mo.
If ne1 can help that would be great thanks in advance.

do u mean official sony psp site cos if u do i dont think they give out custom firmware but thanks ne way

i have a modded psp slim and just upgraded to the latest custom firmware 5.50 GEN-D3. i was on 5.00m33-6 and couldnt play the newest games out. 5.50 GEN D3 plays gran turismo, the new jak & daxter , ff dissidia, LBP, and secret agent clank. i got the links and instructions from pspiso.com. do a search there. beware that site contains LOTS of ads many of them containing malware and viruses.make sure you have good protection.

cheers mate i was looking at that firmware i have a look at that site. i use comodo anti virus out of all iv tried its got to be 1 of the best. iv also got 5.00 m33-6 now so if ne1 want t ill try to upload for them

Latest fw is 5.50genD. Get it off the site listed, or off psp-hacks.com Easy to update, just drop the update in the game folder and run.

As for malware on pspiso, not used it in a while, but never had any problems with that site.
