do search for Prometheus-4 for CFW 5.00 M33
put into game folder ,run from psp.
u will get game canot be started for 2 reasons.
1.u need to update firmware
2.ur umd is set to normal(umd required in drive)
press select and change to m33 or sony.WE ARE THEPEOPLEComment

It probably is due to the configuration.
1st while in the xmb press select button and you should see a VSH menu. check the 4th entry it should say something like "UMD ISO MODE M33 driver"
in ur case most probably its something else. if that's the case then do the following steps
Step 1: shutdown your PSP (either take out ur battery, or press "select" and select shutdown device, or press ur power button for 3 second)
Step 2: Press and hold R (device is still shutdown)
Step 3: Start psp with still holding R
Step 4: you will boot into GEN Recovery Menu
Step 5: Select Configuration
Step 6: Select UMD Mode
Step 7: press x till you get M33 Driver -NO UMD->
All done
Hopefully that will resolve ur problem some games work with Sony NP9660 -NO UMD-> option but like 99% works with M33 Driver

depends on the PSP for mainly:
5.00m33-6 is said to be best for emulation is best for PSP gaming especially for the latest games

Just run the D3 updater from game (place it in PSP/GAME) with the OFW file renamed and placed on the root of the MS
