Has anyone downloaded the pack (not from ms) and installed to hdd? if so did it work ok? and how did you transfer from pc to hdd?

you need a usb stick, 3gb should do! and it works! -
So how do i transfer from the usb stick into the box? and is there any sort of serial or anything?
a note with the download says i need to install to.....
HDD:/Partition3/Content/0000000000000000/
Does the box need to be jtag'd or does it work on flashed box?
