Does anyone have any insider knowledge if there is a new release, and when it may appear.?

The release date for 1.5 has been confirmed for 24th of december. The time of release however has not been said.

All depends on what drive you have as to what the method would be.

You'd probably do better to do a bit of reading first (nobody is going to spoon feed you )and maybe start your own thread.

is it the 360 or the 1st xbox because theres a big difference, between setting them up to play your backups

Hardly worth it. I've been running on 1.41 since April so it's not really something that needs to be done regularly. Also I'd still need to open the case to install the xecuter.

theres a file out there called textbook 2008 download that i'm sure you'l be up to flashing your drive with this info.
