At present, no. None of the slims can be flashed, however the fw for the 9504 version is currently with the beta testers, and should be released shortly. Then will come the 0225 drive fw, and lastly will be the 0500 Hitachi drive.
You will need to find out what drive you have. Open the tray, if its a circle complete then its a liteon. If it has a chunk out of the circle then its a hitachi. You can also check by your manufacturer date.
