i still have the first xbox with a 250 gb hd in that i used to play the games straight from it, is it possible to with the new 360 slim to copy and play...thanks

If you mean burn the games to hard drive and then play off that yes. But the disc is still needed to boot the game.

There is a way to do it without the disc but you will need to find a older phat model. It will need to be jtagged for it to work which isnt hard but can very easily be mucked up! You will need to find a console that is manufactured before 18th June 2009 and has a dashboard revision of 7371 or lower to do it as models made after this date and with newer dashes on them are unable to run the expolit. You can then put any size hard drive in you like and run the games off the hard drive without the game disc in the tray. Amongst other things
