bit of advice needed (flashing hitachi 59)

Hi guys.... trying to flash a hitachi 59 with jungle flasher... JF finds the drive but it does not show up in the port properties :S so cant continue with the flash...

any help will be well appreciated

Has mode b been sent. Refer to the pdf been a while si ce I came across a shitachi

cant seem to pick it up to send mode b.. but windows gives it a drive letter as soon as its hooked up... dunno if that makes a differance??

Off top of my head. Windows assigns a drive letter once mode b is set. What chipset and method are you using. Have a read of the jungleflasher pdf on hitachi drives. There are some videos on hitachi drives on the team x forums for the x360 but method would be the same.
