you will need sata via 6421 card, look on the jungle flasher tut and see what drive you have. all is needed for 2007 model is a sata port as you can use the xbox to power the drive!

Actually easiest thing to get would be a USB pro, as this would do it all for you, without having to connect to sata.

First thing first, take the front off the xbox, and check the colour of the wires. Depending on colour, we can tell what drive you have, but if its a 2007 model, its more than likely a samsung/benq which are really easy to flash.

think its easier for you to get someone to flash it for you- the peeps on here will help you find someone local and you will still make massive savings in the long run.

A little reading is all required. As jan said, prob a benq or sammy, can be done with xbox powering drive and a compatable chipset.

If you want to set up to do others then

              CK3
              X360
              Prove V3

Approx ?50 of gear do 3-5 boxes and your money back

Bit more than ?50 Paul mate. ?40 for USB, ?10 for Probe, ?30 for CK3.

I think it would be best if I could get someone to do it for me.

I done some reading up, people don't recommend you power from the console as it causes problems apparently,

I would happily do it mate, but you need to post me the drive.

It can cause problems, and can get you flagged for a ban.
