    Banned consoles now unbanned?

    It's all over the net/irc at the minute that old banned consoles have miraculously been unbanned today and are playing on live. I've seen quite a few verified cases. Maybe you guys could dust off your old banned consoles and tell us if your still banned.

      yeah been reading that too. i heard it off an unreliable source (/b/ of all places) and dug around a little, seems to actualy carry a little weight.
      so hurry up and test that shit so i can start buying up all these "1 previous owner, slightly banned" units from ebay for next to nothing!

          confirmed working just done it on mine as was curious flashed with latest system update from xbox website and booted a wwe all stars "backup" and signed into live no problem!!!!! wow someone is going to get a kick in the balls from microsoft if they havent backed the database of banned consoles up ooops!

                      yeah looking into it some idiot probably typed "SQL_DROP TABLE "Banlist"; or something and they've just reverted back to a previous backup...

                              didn't know you could get banned xbox 360 consoles? i thought it was only ps3, well it seems both are bad then -.-

                                      If you read post number 6 you will see that MS sorted this mistake. A bit like when peeps think they can glitch MW games and get away with it.

                                      I think they done it as a joke personally. A little flutter to see what they could see being splashed around the web then laugh as they inserted the ban list again then went back to see the response from people.
