Xecuter on New Dashboard update + 0225 Write solutions

Yeah, but i would get the key dumped before you take the update as the key has moved in the newer fw, jungleflasher will be updated in time but its not done yet

Is this something i cimpliy could do myself ..?

As people round here charge way over the odds for the flash..

So i am sure to get my key dumped or what ever this is .. will cost ..

I wanna try n learn how to do it myself .. n basically do peoples xboxs for next to nothing as a favor more than rippin them off at 40 quid a touch

Going rate usually ?15 so yeah way over the odds. Consult the sticky at the top for more info but its easy enough

the update is not forced, and if the drive in ya xbox was changed b4 then the update will not even update the xbox.

just found that out by a friend who has a benq but was a lite on, update will not finish.

That whole sentence dont make sense. The only way it wont work, is if the drive is spoofed eg liteon as a sammy or something. If its an ap2.5 enabled drive the update should take fine.

It could be because its spoofed that would be the whole problem. Each drive has differant methods of going into vendor mode. For instance the drive was originally a liteon but now a benq so then the xbox thinks its still got a liteon inside. So it woukd be trying to flash a liteon but its really a benq inside the machine.

I'd replace the drive to original and update that way. Spoofing of drives is now detected I can't see yhe ap25 protection having anything to do with it as both drives would be ap25 enabled

Plays originals after update does not play any copys. He tested them offline so need to check secdata and see if any flag but i doubt it.

All that happened with backup was booted to white xbox screen similar to when we had boot disk problems.

So all we need to do now is sit back and wait on new LT.

I will inspect the drive tomorrow and write back more.

DRIVE IS LITEON 7 Series IN PHAT console.

How are you inspecting it? Trying a dump of firmware? Meant to add that i will be updating my slim with 0225 see if the firmware changes revision

Yeah just a reminder that the key should have move so it should return 0's but you will know this already. I think most people will flash back to LT whilst waiting for LT2.0

OK Just tried to update Samsung MS25 Console running LT.

It wont let me update

Gets to the end then throws up error

Error code

3151 - 335A - 1380 - 1E04 - C005 - 3007

Unavailable to Update return to dash.

Wonder whats going on as mate done liteon earlier and now cant play games except originals.

Just going to see if i can pull the key now.

OK key is fine so no damage done to drive. Still plays games just wont accept update for now.

Now onto a Benq

@ CGS could this be the reason 'If you have CFW and you update to the beta dash it may fail with an error (e.g E64). In this case you'll have to re-flash to OFW first before the System Update will succeed'
