    Changing drive.....

I have a 360 with a samsung drive. Could I replace the drive with another samsung if anything went wrong with it?
The original drive as been flashed, but I have not got the original flash dump.

Yes, you can replace the drive with another one. You don't need the original dump, just read the fw Jungleflasher and you'll get the key. Also, you don't have to replace it with another Samsung. You can buy another drive brand and 'spoof' the model, although this isn't considered live-safe, and Liteon drives can't be spoofed as another drive in LT+.

If it's a Samsung it's likely a Xenon motherboard. Check your dash version. Might be worth looking into JTAGING it if its a old dash and your not fussed about live.

Can you just swap them? or would i have to put the key from the original drive onto the new one when the drive is flashed?

You would have to inject the old key into the new drive.
