    Liteon 9504 drive

    hi,
    I have lt on my xbox , and have the slim 9504.
    in the next day or so the kit will arrive so i can flash my own drive. My understanding is that if i use xbox live and update i will lose the cd key or somet like that!

    Do i have to take the drive back to stock then update then reflash to lt so i can play online? not bothered about ap2.5 ...

    PLease help!

      Ok with the slim you can flash it but it will ask to update, after it updates, its not safe to flash it back. You need to wait for LT1.9.

      With the slim, just reflash after the update. Although again, its not really live safe.

          Dont update just now. Wait for kit to arrive pull the key then update. Then flash it with LT.

              Don't get me wrong here l have been modding boxes for years , but have to say it's comin to end now , wot happens on the next update in a weeks time ? ~~~~ me rent them play them and take them back seems the best option these days , tell me lm wrong

                      at the minute i cant play movies as it is asking for the update....i have lt + at min but it asks for the update?

                      What do i need to do, take update and reflash but if i do that i lose the cd key, please help

                          You can take the update, grab your key wih new JF when kit arrives. However best wait for new firmware before reflash to a cfw
