XBOX 360 or PS3 for playing pirated games ?

Hi,

I'm planning to purchase an XBOX 360 ( Elite ) or a PS3 ( in 2011 yeah ! )....

I know that Xbox is better than PS3 in every aspect .
But i basically intend to download games from the internet on my
PC and transfer them to the HDD of the console or burn them and play.

So For Playing pirated games ( like assassins creed brotherhood etc ) which console should i go for ?

Do the consoles need to be modified for playing pirated games ?
And which console ( Ps3 or Xbox 360 ) can be modified to play all the pirated games ( evn the newer and yet to come games like F.E.A.R 3 etc ) ?

I do not know for sure , just from wat i've read.

However my priority is playing pirated games .....
So suggest ..

id go 4 a xbox, yes it needs to b modded to play them, so do ps3s

I heard that PS# new FW is not jailbreakable .

Short answer: get a JTAG xbox.

Both xbox and ps3 scenes are facing big challenges with respect to playing future games. Xbox are rolling out a new disc format that may not be burnable to dvd-r dl discs, and ps3 scene hasn't cracked a fw since 3.55. JTAG xbox should be able to play future releases but is unable to play on LIVE.

Okay , so if i purchase Xbox 360 elite now , can i mod it to play pirated games (on the basis of the dvd drive present as explained in other thread )?

nd as for PS3 nothing can be done with a new one coz it would obviously have a new FW ...?

n what does backup mean ?
n once hacked , can i play genuine games as well ?

I think you should show your support to game developers and publishers by purchasing original games.

If you don't know what 'backups' are then maybe this would be the best course of action for you.

No, there is no console hack that is guaranteed to play future pirate games.

I love both my PS3 and Xbox, both have great games that aren't available on the other, so if you can afford it, grab both.

I spend more time on my 360 if truth be told, but the PS3 is not in any way an inferior machine.

Just DO NOT buy a Wii!!
