after flash, storage device not recognised

Hi peeps just got my xbox flashed from a very kind member of this site, but just got a call from the guy and when he wants to play his tiger woods it says not enough storage, even when he puts his 60gig drive in, am i right in saying that i would need to enter the serial nuber of the xbox in system settings to get it recognised again, cheers folks

Needs to be formatted on that console i think mate. Only reason you need the serial number from the individual xbox you wish to format the HD on.
