XBOX Live Arcade Titles from News Groups

Hi All, I've noticed on the News Groups and some other places for download are XBOX Live Arcade (XBLA) Titles. Once these are downloaded, how are they then stored on the XBOX360 to be played? Are they burned to disk... or are they ftp'd over to the 360 onto the hard drive? Any step by step instructions on how to play these games once downloaded from a newsgroup (Not from official XBLA Online) would be welcome... thanks

i think you would need a JTAG'd console to play these.
