why should i change from 1.4 to IXtreme.1.5.Firmware

do i really need to update my console, it works fine and i've been on xbox live for almost a year and i,ve not got banned.

so why should i update what are the benefits with the new IXtreme.1.5.Firmware compared to the old 1.4 ?????

theres no need at all m8 ,, it was made with the lite-on in mind and then they just added slight updates to the rest

No point in updating unless you got a liteon. Nothing in the game detection has changed, so its not going to stop you being detected online, any better than 1.4

Theres improved disc jitter and bad angle improvements.

But if you run 1.4 and stealth check your games you should be fine.


The benQ has also some reading issues fixed.

i updated as the couple of new protections are worth 20minutes of my time to reflash 1.5 especially as it can all be done in windows now
