Wave 11 on old ixtreme ?

Hi
I was wondering if its possible to play wave 11 games on my xbox which has iextreme 1.51 (i think ) ?
I used to simply patch the games to wave 3 no probs but now when i do this it asks me to update the game if i want to play it.

I dont know how to flash it myself and dont really want to pay someone to do it as the console is banned and a few years old (with ring of death probably just round the corner )

Cant remember if 1.51 has this built in (think was 1.6/1.61) so short of a reflash then if this dont work will be the only way.

Ok found a solution.
Seems librasoft 360 game patcher allows me to patch the wave 11 games to wave 3 and still keep the update .
just tried on Dues Ex and working fine

Never heard of this app, thanks for the heads-up. My 360 is on 1.51 fw only so it's not had any use in months because the ABGX gui was unable to patch newer titles. Looks like it's time to invest in some D/L Trax's and start catching up on some of the titles I've missed

I might have similar problem ..

I have an old flash (not sure which one) but i still use a boot disc... n think the xbox was flashed about year and half ago

NOw my deus ex worked fine.. but when i went t o play bodycount .. I got message asking me to run a security update from the disc.. (see earlier post)

was this the problem you had with deus ex.. AS i have never had to run a security update for my xbox from a disc ive dowloaded.. I have ran system updates (i think from discs)

Just worried about bricking my box by running the update (from the body count disc)

Anyone anythoughts or idea what will happen if i run the game .?

think the update i required for wave 11 games was a dashboard update, havent seen any security updates yet but bodycount is one of the newest games out there.
Think i would be a little hesitant installing the security update aswell as i think the latest dash update flashes your drive back to original.
