mkv streaming ?

Hi

Have recently downloaded Xvid fix from xbox live,and works fine.
I cannot trace if .mkv file fix will happen..
Seems a little time consuming transcoding to WMV or AVI if the mkv file is a 720p or 1080p bluray image ?
(i dont think my PC fast enough to transcode on the fly as well as stream to my 360)
