Guys can someone please offer some advice and apols if I'm droning on but I want to explain what's happened in the hope someone can help.
My console had the LT+ 1.6x firmware on it that I got flashed to let me play the then new 'AP25' games that were released. On Saturday my son accidently went to sign in to XBOX live without thinking during a game of single player COD MW2 and was instantly prompted to download an update before he could sign in. I was watching him and told him not to sign in and I immediately turned the console off as I'd read not to as the latest dashboard update would flash the firmware back to stock. Later in the day I went to play a game and noticed that the console would no longer play any 'backups' and also the Kinect wouldn't turn on with the light staying red and continually prompting me to install a new system update. I also noticed that I was no longer able to play any type of movie files on the console. I'm not sure how this happened as I know he didn't sign in to Live and I turned the console off as soon as I saw what he was doing and he never accepted the system update that he was prompted to. I just thought 'sod it' and applied the system update as I could no longer get any use out of the console. I downloaded the new system update and I can now play movies and the Kinect now works so I just need to get it re-flashed to LT+ 2.0 so I can play my 'backups' again.
If I now flash my console to the latest LT+ 2.0 firmware, do I then NEED to re-run all the older games that were 'AP25' games (Need For Speed, Call Of Duty MW2, Black Ops etc) through ABGX again and then re-burn them again for them to work?
Also should I expect to get banned from live due to downloading the system update through live on a console that had LT+ 1.6x installed on it or is there really no 100% way of knowing?
Cheers
