Hi

My xbox if it is turn on but not being used it usually turns itself off after five minutes no red lights just goes off, but i can switch it back on striaght away and the same thing happens after the same time is there a automatic switch off.

Go to - system settings- console settings- start up and shutdown- and insure auto-off is disabled.

If the box was overheating and shutting off it would usually show two red lights but not entirely sure?

I know i had the same problem with one of my kids boxes shutting down and it was solved by disabling auto-off function.

KDC Finally found it in the setting now i've disabled it the box is fine.
