hey peeps, i got a phat xbox 360 with a 250gb hard drive,
i want to know how to format the xbox hard drive to use as a normal hard drive for pc etc, been searching but cant find a tutorial,
can anyone help please?

i dont use much memory on the 250gb hard drive,
i've ordered a dreambox800se i thought i could put that 250gb in the sat box and just buy a 20gb hard drive for the xbox 360 cheap on ebay

Your Xbox hard drive is just a sata hard drive open case plug into your pc go to my computer then right click format job done. You would prob be better and cheaper buying a normal internal hard drive from eBay and keep the Xbox hard drive as it is. The Xbox hard drive is worth more.

so after formatting the 250gb drive i can put that in the sat box right?

the 250gb 2.5 hard drives on ebay are about ?25,
the 20gb xbox 360 hard drives are about ?10 on ebay.
cause i dont use much memory on the 250gb xbox 360 hard drive,
i thought i could use that on sat box and just get a cheap 20gb xbox 360 hard drive for the xbox 360.

if i get a cheap 20gb xbox hard drive,
is it just a matter of connecting it on to the xbox and thats it, its ready to use?
