My copy of Batman Arkham City is asking for a system update before I can play it.Is it ok to update?? I've got the latest firmware and dashboard

If u have the latest dash (13604) then this is probably a kinnect update which should be ok to install from the disk.

Check your system settings to make sure u have the latest dash-or at least 13599. If not then do not update from the disk-download the update and copy it to USB and install from there.

I am playing this game and when it fly over the city the city sight seems to be amazing and graphics of this game is good.

Whenever you are asked to update after the disk starts running it's usually ok to update.

Batman Arkham Asylum: System Update

Hello People,

OK you should never Update from Disk unless you are absolutely sure that it will be fine. I done that last week without checking my dash version and had to re-flash the drive.

I can confirm that FOR ME the system update was fine with Dash Version 13599. I updated the system from the Game Disk.
